SGS continues to expand its international network of crop centers and field trial capabilities. After SGS China this spring, SGS India and
SGS Malaysia have started contract research/field trial services. Our biotech laboratory in Ahmedabad has recently been recognized by the Dpt. of Biotechnology (DBT-Govt. of India), this will entitle us to start GM field trials.
Three new soil fertility management centers have started this fall in Voronezh (Russia), Lima (Peru) and Saskatoon (Canada) to assist growers optimizing crop potential. In addition to laboratory testing, these centers provide GPS site-specific soil sampling, digital maps of nutrients as well as fertility recommendations.
